Contactless will not work with the card on the platform ticket machines.

Does chip and pin work on those terminals?

This is probably better reported in either the decline report thread and maybe added to known issues.

Is this contactless TFL style where you just touch in on a card reader and you’re good to travel or do you have to buy an actual ticket using contactless?

I was in Manchester a couple of weeks ago but never needed to use a tram

I have this issue too.

No, it’s a payment machine with a contactless reader on the front. It works fine with my other contactless cards; sadly not Monzo.

I would contact the in app support team and they can look into it and what is causing it. That way they can hopefully prevent it.

Used the metro today contactless worked at airport metro station perfectly
