If youāre open to buying used, a Herman Miller is hard to beat for comfort and durability. Iāve also heard good things about Secretlab chairs, especially for long hours at a desk. Iād focus on ergonomics and adjustability over looksāyour back will thank you later!

Has anyone had one of these?
Main concern is how wide they are (Iām not huge) and a review mentions the backrest doesnāt tilt forwards enough and I do like to sit very upright.
Iāve had good luck buying second-hand office chairs; a refurbished Steelcase Leap felt like new and didnāt drain my wallet. If you want something comfy for breaks, Iāve been using an egg chair in my garden and itās surprisingly great for posture resets between long sessions. For desk use, though, Iād still lean toward a proper ergonomic model like a Leap or a used Aeron.
