Worth noting all under the hood stuff is still in light mode eg. Everyday offers, statements, inbox, credit score etc. but definitely a step in the right direction
I think it looks pretty good in dark mode, certainly one of the better banking apps visually for me.
The more I use the Lloyds app, the more I like it.
That being said, it just took 4 minutes to receive a notification for my card payment to Deliveroo.
It would be nice for this to be improved next

Maybe the Lloyds Banking Group isnāt for you? You just seem to have issue after issue with them
What do you expect them to do? You already know you have to use the code so just wait for the code
Try to be patient. I know itās easier said than done for some people.
If you call them, chances are they will send another code and you will have to wait all over again.

This might be dumb⦠but im sure back in the day when the mobile number on your account became trusted you did not need an activation code to register for internet banking. I canāt remember how long this was.
You could⦠register your hfx account on bank of scotland internet banking to give it a shot⦠but i might be being extra dumb

Iāve definitely had good experiences myself. My letters from Bank of Scotland arrived quickly. No complaints here

Iām with Halifax and seeing how the other 2 apps look like, Iām happy where I am. Those fonts hurt my eyes.
