I only activate the non-
offers, so all the good ones I might actually use are already activated ![]()
I was activating them all but stopped recently, will have to wait for them all to renew or something decent comes up. Iām hoping a Deliveroo ![]()
Because that other offer has to be activated first to be used, hence why I said use any other already activated offer.
I still activate everything when it pops up even when I have no idea who they are.
- Opt in to £50
- Activate a new offer
- Use new offer
Is how itās worded, offers already active before you opted in might not be eligible based on the above.
May be I am understanding Terms here in a different way.
The terms are explaining it the same way I explained it in the same order it needs to be done.
If youāve already activated Just Eat before you opted in to the Ā£50 draw, then Just Eat purchases wouldnāt be included.
If youāve activated Just Eat after opting in to the Ā£50 draw, your Just Eat purchase would be eligible.
They donāt say the activated offer must be new, or stated that pre-activated offers are excluded.
I know AI has flaws but Gemini agreed with me when I asked for clarity, as long as the other activated offer meets criteria, it is valid even if activated before this draw one.
Some people get fewer new offers and many are useless, this would leave them totally out
Gemini is terrible compared to other AI. And it sounds like itāll agree with whatever you feed it to agree with.
Good luck with your entry.
I didnāt tell it what I thought.
Iām with Carl on this. I think itās only on offers you activate after you activate the challenge.
Itās Ā£50, and realistically none of us are going to win anyways.
Letās move on.
Also FWIW my Gemini says this.
Edit: oh what my Gemini is being stupid as well. Itās wrong. I still believe itās only for offers activated after the Ā£50 offer is activated.
Right, they saved me from spending more money then.
Until next time, Midweek Carveryā¦
Is everything okay?
Why would you trust Gemini, rather than your own reading of the terms and conditions? Gemini isnāt powered by Lloyds Bank, so you canāt accept what it says as authoritative.
My burger king offer expired. Closing my Lloyds account /s
Regarding the Lloyds approach to security⦠I just had to pay ~Ā£600 for my car service, and the transaction declined on Apple Pay (Ultra Credit Card). I was half expecting this because Iāve found Apple Pay hit and miss previously with larger transactions. I tried again with chip and PIN and it went straight through.
Is this normal behaviour? Itās annoying because I donāt usually carry my wallet with me.
Max I have done with Apple Pay in store was £800-900 with my Lloyds card, still at car dealership with no issues. Twice.
I have had multiple declines at Apple Store online though.
Did you get an actual decline notification from Lloyds themselves or did the terminal decline. Some merchants apply limits to Apple Pay even though they donāt need to
Not Ultra Card but I purchased my new Macbook with Lloyds Premier Debit Card on my Apple Pay and had no issue?
Must be a intermittent issue
