What’s the incentive for banks to get you onto Apple Pay?
I thought I’d read somewhere that it cost them more as Apple got a cut of it?
Probably should also mention the interest rate for balances has dropped to 3% AER from 8th August
They probably know many people are moving onto mobile wallets and there’s a probability you will set their card as default and use it more.
No notifications, merchant data isn’t great either.

Anyway, did my Apple Pay transaction yesterday and the £5 is in my account today.
People leaving and requesting their posts to be removed. It will also remove any threads they started
Oh wow, that’s a bit drastic. Surely it should just remove their posts from the thread, not the entire thread.
Their post was the start of the thread and everything follows is in response therefore it all gets taken away.

Working for me ok, I don’t seem to be notified for payment approvals though. Also payment approvals take a good while to come through to the app.
iOS app just nudged me to allow notifications finally.
Can take some time for apps to update. Delete and reinstall the app will force update.
Ok - so annoying issue with LVH.
I moved last week (physically - new address). I’ve been trying to update my address with all the various financial institutions ASAP to avoid the risk of fraud and them sending something to my old place.
Got to update my details with LVH - no option yet in the App and you need to email them. Ok, no problem - it’s still early days and probably not the most urgent thing on their ‘to-do’ list.
So, emailed them in and got an email back saying to make sure I sent the email from the registered email address on my account and include account number and sort code. Did that, then got another email back saying I also need to include a copy of a recent utility bill to confirm the new address. I moved in last week - I don’t have a bill yet. Argh!
Anyway - far too much hassle to sort out, so just told them to close the account instead as I have no intention of using it anyway.
