Link Incoming Payment to Contact

I’ve done brief search and I can’t seem to find anything about this. Is it possible to link an incoming payment to a contact so it shows them as the payee? As it is the incoming payments have different forms of name and there’s no way to link them.

In the Starling app you can link multiple bank accounts to one contact and it uses their details for the transaction display. Is this possible or planned?

It’s not possible yet.

They are supposedly overhauling their payee management (at some point), so I’d expect something like this to be included.

But there is no official word from Monzo on it.

I’d also like to add on this, even when I’ve added my account to the payees list, the incoming payment still doesn’t take that name, even when the details are all the same.image
