Just tried to move some money between joint and sole accounts and it said i had hit my daily llmit “for payments to other Monzo contacts”. It’s me! Why is there a limit on moving my own money between my own accounts?!
If you contact Monzo you can raise the limits. All banks have limits for fraud and risk protection.
Otherwise you’ll need to wait until tomorrow and you can move another £10k.

True. But if you’re moving from a sole account in your own name to a joint account where you’re one of the “owners” of that account, this particular limitation does seem a bit ludicrous. There might - possibly - be an argument for it if the movement was in the other direction, I’ll grant you.
