It would save me time and effort if when I give others my sort code and account number to use when transferring money to me, that I could also give them a reference to use that would see the money go straight into one of my pots.

This would be great actually, almost like a monzo.me link but with an additional parameter to go straight to your pot instead of in the main account

Not really.
‘really’ - because it technically has happened, but only for child accounts. You can send a link to an external party who can then send money straight to the child account, which is just like a pot under the parent’s account.
So it seems it is possible, but has never been implemented for regular pots.

Like many things these days unfortunately, Revolut does this and not Monzo.
