Kroo Bank chat

Have you asked?

I’m more surprised that anyone’s still with Kroo (especially OP who’s had so many issues)

He’s sticking with his Kroo :moneybag:

I’ve had no issues with Kroo :man_shrugging:

Nor I do. Probably because I closed my account (before it became a bank)

Me either to be fair but I’ve barely used it.

Don’t know if it’s been discussed, but saw this advert

Kroo have announced that their interest rate will increase to 3.60% wef 01/06

Obviously betting off the Fed decision that the BoE will go up again.

I do wonder what levels of deposit they are actually seeing

Same, seems a desperate gain, considering the app is fairly basic.

The app a dumpster fire, but it seems there happy to keep throwing interest rates at a problem

I like the rate but I just can’t trust them yet. It’s a no from me.

(Monzo, let’s have another 0 25 - 0.5pc plsthx)

I believe that Chip is more suitable than Kroo

It’s a shame none of us trust Kroo, 3.33% is a decent rate for current account, obviously not very good now Monzo have upped to 3.4%.

Damn even more of a shame. :joy:

In theory nobody should be worried, they are a bank and they are covered by the FSCS protection scheme.

I think it’s the technical challenges that people have experienced on here that have put people off.

I wondered if people had not heard or experienced those then they might feel differently?

I think it’s a bit of both. The App, I think, is super clunky and feels like it has been thrown together without real thought as to what each section should do.

And then there’s the service. It took 2 days each time I reached out to support to get anything. I appreciate they are early doors but they’re too basic and unconnected for me.

I expect they’ll be acquired for the licence soon.

Super naive question, but why wouldn’t Revolut do exactly that, i.e. acquire Kroo for the licence? Guessing it’s not that simple.
