Joint Account with Existing Account

Hi,

Recently opened a joint account with my wife.

I was under the impression she would just join my existing account and not a new one set up with new cards and all that.

I wanted to give her access to my account with her own card is that not possible?

Hi. That’s not possible.

You both have an account and then a joint account.

It sounds like you just want an extra card for your account, Monzo don’t offer that. But there are banks that do. Starling I think, among others.

Thanks for the reply. Not the end of the world but thought it would be easier.

I’m trying to think why they wouldn’t and what’s stopping them.
