Don’t forget, if you have external facing cameras and they capture anything outside your property boundaries (so unless you’ve got a longish front garden with a gate at an angle so the camera can’t see out and big high back fences so the cameras can’t see into your neighbours), you’ll probably have to register under the Data Protection Act ( https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/domestic-cctv-using-cctv-systems-on-your-property/domestic-cctv-using-cctv-systems-on-your-property ). It’ll be £40 a year to ‘be legal’.
