A reboot on iOS has done it… something cached there maybe, but its there and up to date now anyway.

A polite request might elicit something but only if the right person happens to read this. Contrary to popular opinion, the dev staff don’t browse the forum all day looking for questions to answer!

Quite right too. They’ve probably got actual current customer issues to deal with rather than what is essentially academic interest. After all, it isn’t their job to support that kind of query.
This forum is essentially customers talking to customers most of the time, staff responses to this sort of think are really an occasional bonus.
