✅ [iOS] Crash involving Summary page

Issue:

Leaving the app with summary showing and then opening the app again and going to summary crashes the app consistently.

There is another bug/issue where the app is always going back to the feed when resuming the app.

Can’t remember if it was happening yesterday, but I did get paid today so it’s started a new summary month.

Details to reproduce:

  1. Go to summary
  2. Go back to iOS home screen (home button/gesture)
  3. Tap on Monzo again
  4. Tap on summary tab
  5. Crash

OS:

iOS 12.1

Device:

iPhone XS Max

App Version:

2.25.0 #482

Have a similar problem, when the app crashes half of the time when I go to summary. As far as I recall, it did not happen before the last update.

iOS: 12.1 on an iPhone X
App: 2.25.0

I have the same OS and device as yourself but I am not experiencing the same issues when following the steps that cause your app to crash. As annoying as it is, perhaps try uninstalling and redownloading the app?

EDIT: Sorry, I have the iPhone X not XS Max, perhaps it’s a device related issue? I would still recommend the uninstall and re-download option, just to be sure. Sorry :grimacing::man_shrugging:

Currently having the same issue on iOS. I knew it was crashing occasionally on Summary page but didn’t know the exact reproducer. Having just tried the one by @tomguthrie, I confirm that it crashes following those exact steps.

It did not happen before - let’s say a few weeks or a month ago.

Also having this issue. iPhone XS Max, iOS 12.1

Seems fixed in the 2.27.0 (491) beta :partying_face: Took me a while to realise it wasn’t crashing every time I tried to look at the summary!
