Am I going mad, were we able to pay for premium from
Pot? Cant seem to add the max payment to my bills pot payments which is a mild irritation.
You’ve never been able to pay for a paid tier from a pot unfortunately.
My partner just had this pop up in her app (interestingly the card visuals were all the same standard coral) so she was very confused what the difference was, might be worth fixing.
I’m currently on premium and have no interest in paying more per month for no added benefit (to me, I’ve already paid for my rail card for the year and can’t get one next year etc). My question is how long will I be allowed to keep everything I have access to before I get forced out of the plan, my metal card expires in '27, what happens then?
You’d need to add funds to a Pot and then set a withdrawal on the date your monthly fee is due to be taken.
Ive not heard of Revels, im dead curious though! is that revolut?
Oh that’s a clever workaround, didn’t know you could do that! ![]()
Certainly brings the element of surprise.

Oh Har har!
thats the 5pm Wednesday chuckle I needed!
What if you have a basic account at the moment that you don’t pay for, will that continue?
Of course. These are completely optional upgrades to your account that come with a small fee. Nothing on your original/basic account will change.
So this explains the new “Upgrade!” button I spotted this morning! But alas I thought I was a Super Duper Special Fancy Boy already.
Are you telling me I’m now not the super special fancy boy I once was?!
I didn’t quite get from the in app message that the Old Plans are Going. (I didn’t scroll far enough to be fair). I was hoping the Max card would be Metal too from the image - that looks slick.
So if you’re a new customer, you only have access to “Max, Perks, Extra”, while current can choose to remain on their current Premium or Plus?
Me too - the early images showed a what-looked-like metal card Mastercard logo, so I got excited at the prospect of doing another tap-test to show off the metalness. Sadly, the white metal 2020 tap-test will be the only one. But I think I’m ready for a change from the white metal and sunshine cards now and look forward to a different take on hot coral.
Give it a shot! - although that’ll be an extreme edge-case that might not have been considered yet. And was the neon pink card ordered against a tier that is now different? (no more Plus/Premium once you’ve left)
That’s disappointing paying from pot wasn’t fixed when launching new plans.

So I wanted to see all features of all plans side by side - including the old ones - here’s what it looks like if I’ve got it right and have got the right assumptions?
(I could only see Free + New online, or Current Plan vs New in app… - so this may exist but I couldn’t see it all side by side)
The ’
(+5)’ also applies to Phone Insurance and Breakdown in the Max column.
Good spot - quick edit!
Plus has discounted investment fees too…
I just claimed my first free Greggs treat while popping to the high street to pick up a parcel… I think it’s a perk I didn’t know I needed until now! It was a very seamless process too.
