Perks card landed this morning too, rapid!
received my card today too and Bold Coral is a very apt description of the card. I think you are right the pics won’t do it justice
I imagine it’s because Gail’s and Pret are largely regional chains as opposed to Greggs who are more national…
Out of curiosity - all you early Max plan users - what does the card look like in the ‘stack’ at the top of Home - is it just coral or is it burnt-coral? Screenshot?

I definitely like that a lot, probably more than the standard hot coral card.
My Perks card’s just come through the door - great considering I didn’t order first thing in the morning and mulled it over til about lunch time! At first, was a little gutted because it does look just like a regular hot coral card… but when you look closer, it does have a glittery-shimmer when the light hits it just right:
Also, this is a nice touch on the back! Shame about the quality of the printing on the lettering
One of my 8s has already started to rub off too
what does perks look like in App and on apple pay?
Not sure how to get the card design in the Monzo app as they removed that screen a while back? But here it is in Apple Pay
Copying Amex with the Subscriber thing. They could have at least been a bit more creative with it. Like maybe a graphic of some form.
Not a fan of the two cards either. Happy with my standard coral card.
Looks kinda epic.
They’re gonna add that to the Revels (I think) plan. Free petrol if you drive rather than a Railcard.
I’m in!
I’ve been with Monzo since 2018 and a plus customer since 2020! I’ve just upgraded to Perks largely because of the railcard offer which for me is a game changer. The rest;ie roundups/cash paying in/interest payable etc etc I had with plus but I’m now paying £2 extra per month for a bundled account which I feel is right for me. I totally appreciate it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but as I said for me it ticks all boxes.
Agreed!
Rural NI here.
When we don’t cook, we eat from local takeaways from the village.
On weekends we go to a nearby town (15 mins by car, there is no public transport to rely on here) for breakfast or brunch. No Greggs there, the nearest Greggs is 45 minutes away in the nearest city (Newry), and local shops (in the nearby town) do better hot snacks anyway. And there is no Pret in NI according to Google Maps, not that I would go there - way overpriced baguettes.
I am almost certain I am downgrading to Extra to pay less for pretty much the same benefits. I would have liked to see some of these unnecessary limits relaxed, especially for paying customers; for example, £200 monthly cash abroad is too low when visiting cash-heavy countries. Starling don’t have a limit (AFAIK) and are still profitable, why can’t Monzo do it?
But other than that, Extra doesn’t seem to have any material difference to my current Plus.
same question. it’s expensive now to cover the whole family.
I presume that the digital railcard via Trainline will also provide the offers and benefits listed on the ‘proper’ Railcard websites too? From what I can gather the Trainline Railcard is the same as the ones from National Rail - and if that’s the case, it provides some additional benefits - https://www.twotogether-railcard.co.uk/news-offers/offers/
Can anyone confirm if you can choose your payment date for either plan or is it fixed on the day you join, and can you pay the payment from a pot? Cheers
I’ve got a Railcard in the Trainline app, and you get the offers, quiet useful for days out
