Interest payments on pots not showing in transaction feed

Hi all

We’re working with a FCA regulated client, who provide a bank feed for transactions to their users (all businesses) for various banks, including Monzo.

This is a direct feed for business accounts only, not one through a third-party such as Plaid.

Some users have queried why interest doesn’t show on their feed, which is paid to their pots. I’m just trying to understand the technical side of it to see if it is an issue, or whether it’s expected and there’s a valid reason.

My understanding is - the pots are just a ring fenced amount from the main account, but still included in that account (as in same account number, sort code etc.), so would expect them to show up. But maybe I’m wrong!

In short -

  1. The interest payments don’t show on the account feed itself. Should they?
  2. If they shouldn’t show there, where should they show?

It shows in the pot only, there was another post about this and the API the other day. It doesn’t even show on the statement/export, so I don’t see it being fixed anytime soon.
