How come joint savings pots earn less interest than personal pots?
Currently I can get 0.8% on a personal pot but only 0.5% on a joint one.
Is this just a quirk brought about from changes due to COVID or do joint accounts not get the same deals generally?

Is the joint account pot with the same provider as the personal?

Do you already have a joint paragon pot? This has come up with individual accounts where if you already have one you get a better rate than new customers

Ah, that would make sense. Yes I do.
Would be good if this was better shown in app.
Maybe even with a warning when closing a savings pot with a higher % than whats currently offered perhaps.
