I received today an email that Monzo from October won’t be supporting the operating systems of certain phones such as iPhone 7 and some older Androids. I have iPhone 7 and this phone won’t allow me to upgrade to an operating system higher than 15.8 and soon Monzo won’t support anymore Phones with iOS lower than 16 and Android 9 or lower. How are we meant to bank with Monzo? Do you have an alternative? Such as having a website like Starling does? Or will you provide me with a newer phone?
I wouldn’t be happy running my banking apps on a phone that is end of life and has no active support and has no up to date security. it’s time to get a new phone.
