Icon changes

Cannot change the app icon- stays stuck on PRIDE version despite wanting the Ukraine one.
Details to reproduce:
OS: Apple
Device: Apple XR
App Version: 5.58.0

I’m not 100% sure about this, but on iOS, don’t you have to restart the phone (or app) after changing the icon in the :monzo: app?

I’m using Android which changes immediately but for some reason I recall older iOS versions needing a device (or app) reboot for the change to happen. Apologies if I’m wrong.

I just changed mine from standard to the plus icon and it changed instantly.

Ahh didn’t even see my email was on my name think it auto filled!

No, usually it’s an instant change.
When I click to change to Ukraine it pops up and says changed, but the highlighted icon is still the pride badge. When I then come off the app and check my screen it’s still the pride badge. Interestingly any notifications I get on my phone from Monzo are now Ukraine…

I’d give the tried-and-tested reboot dance :bananadance: a try:

  • Uninstall the Monzo app
  • Reboot your device
  • Download & install the Monzo app, login.

Check if it is fixed.

It’s more an iOS bug than anything, the icon cache sometimes doesn’t rebuild properly. I’ve also seen it where if you have an app in a folder, it has one icon when small in the folder but another icon when you expand the folder and it shows at full size.

Restarting your phone should fix it, but it’ll update itself in due course.
