I have been given an account number, IBAN and BIC but no sort code (for a UK transaction!). I assume in this extrapolation (below using: http://www.xe.com/ibancalculator/), “Branch Identifier” is equivalent to sort code?
Yes it is as i just checked mine

https://www.paymentsuk.org.uk/consumers/sort-code-checker suggests the bank is Barclays.
https://www.sortcodes.co.uk/checker.html also confirms this.
The BICs however do not match
