Why do I feel like Monzo will be the only bank with a non vertical design soon
.
Personally the metal card would look fine as it is but the hot coral and the holographic card should 100% be vertical with numbers printed on the back

All this card design chatter has tempted me to go to my HSBC app and I have just noticed iOS now has transaction notifications finally
So they updated the physical card to the vertical one, but in Apple Pay it’s still the design with the lion
Oh really?!
Mine is the other way round - Apple Pay shows the new design but new physical card came back as the lion!
if you delete and re add it updates to the new design.
It worked, thanks!
I do like the design but I much prefer the lion ones. I’ve just added to Apple Pay and got the new one.
That was my initial thought as well, but this design started to grow on me. Hopefully they’ll update the credit cards as well so they’ll look consistent
HSBC is announcing a UI revamp, where testers can check it out starting from next week.
I just moved some money from my main HSBC account to my HSBC savings account. With the app still open I got two push notifications to tell me about money going out and coming in. Erm. Thanks?
I’ve noticed that - it seems the notifications get generated on the server and deliver regardless of whether the app is open.
I’m fine with it, just a bit odd.
I actually quite like it, it’s a nice confirmation.
It seems that the UI revamp TestFlight build was pushed to this week, hopefully they’ll start sending them soon.
Let’s see who send the invites first HSBC or Chase UK
Now I’m curious how I get onto this TestFlight
Do send pictures of anyone gets the new designs
My assumption is that it will look very similar with the HSBC HK app, as seen below
I would agree - that’s how the US app now looks also.
Yes, that is why I am hoping that the US version is not the one they update the UK one too.
So apparently HSBC missed their second deadline
Third time’s a charm?
