My son purchases college lunches, etc via his Monzo card and I pay for them when he requests the money using the split bill option.
I’ve recently opened a joint account and would like to know how he can make a bill split request through to that account as opposed to my current personal account. Me as a joint account option doesn’t show up on his list?
You can’t do it that way.
Bill splits are with people, not with accounts.
Perhaps a different solution would be to give them the their weekly lunch money and have them keep it in a pot. Not ideal, but I guess it would also teach them money management a little too.
That suggests he is 16 or over, I would be giving them the money weekly and let him budget it himself?
