Really not enjoying that despite having a paid for bank account, I cannot permanently remove the advert that is monzo cashback from my home screen as despite removing it, it comes back the next day.

I also noticed that since the new membership types were introduced, I can now no longer have my monzo plus payment be taken out of a pot and have to live with the *upgrade icon on my home screen.

I know why monzo is doing this, but as someone who pays for a bank account, I resent being advertised to against my will.

Iā€™m sure I seen someone here the other week managed to set this to come from a Pot.

I have a manual deposit and withdrawal setup to pay mine. It works, since the payment is taken on the same date every month, however it would be cleaner to have it connected to a pot.

I cba searching but I definitely seen someone query it and it had a screenshot. It was some weeks ago.

Everything about these premium account payments is a mess. I want to upgrade to Free Sausage Rolls but I need to wait until the 1st of the month to keep things tidy.

There was someone that said they could, but itā€™s not functionality from years ago that has been removed.

I donā€™t have these? Maybe because Iā€™ve already opted-in to cashback and then later decided to opt out.

I donā€™t think the former has ever been a thing and even before the app redesign there was a ā€œUpgrade to Monzo Premiumā€ button on the accounts page
