Google Pixel XL 2 leaks!

It’s kinda annoying. I’ll probably just stick the adapter on the end of my existing headphones and that way I won’t forget it.

Still, I find it interesting how we’ve sort of come full circle.

The very first Android phone, the T-Mobile G1, didn’t have a headphone jack either. You also needed an adapter (at the time, it was Mini-USB, not even micro!). I had the G1 for two full years from late 2008 to late 2010 and I honestly don’t recall it being a huge issue for me during that time. And before anyone says, no, I didn’t also have an iPod (I’ve actually never had one) - I vividly remember stuffing a 16GB micro SD card full of music and always listening on my G1, so it was my main music player.

Live stream here for anyone who wants to tune in!

Going to be an exciting one :tada: (for me… not for my wallet :joy:) I hope the conversion from $ to £ isn’t 1:1 like it normally is! But it’s definitely going to be more expensive than the Gen1 Pixels!
