It’s kinda annoying. I’ll probably just stick the adapter on the end of my existing headphones and that way I won’t forget it.
Still, I find it interesting how we’ve sort of come full circle.
The very first Android phone, the T-Mobile G1, didn’t have a headphone jack either. You also needed an adapter (at the time, it was Mini-USB, not even micro!). I had the G1 for two full years from late 2008 to late 2010 and I honestly don’t recall it being a huge issue for me during that time. And before anyone says, no, I didn’t also have an iPod (I’ve actually never had one) - I vividly remember stuffing a 16GB micro SD card full of music and always listening on my G1, so it was my main music player.
