Have to report back Sunday. It’s for my partner and we haven’t found the time to set it up yet.
This sucks! I use the Nest API to connect to HomeKit and allow Siri to control my thermostat.
It seems Google will not provide an API for Nest products so I’ve lost this feature 
Time to find a new homebridge thermostat.

Yeah it really does suck. I have it connected to my server to collect the data and also control it. Going to miss it
Half the intelligence (IFTTT/Nest/Ring) of my smart home is going to disappear. Not happy.
