Too late for the main event.

Welcome back @Revels!

They did ship a load of great stuff in this tranche of the app recently, admittedly after many years of not having done so. So it’s not so bad now.

Hey @DANZR

Thanks for taking the time to make such an in-depth first post

Feedback is always welcome and I’m sorry that we’re not hitting all your expectations as a bank - I’ve highlighted the points you’ve made with our wider team which includes the teams who own the different areas that you’ve mentioned.

Thanks, Alan, I appreciate that.

For what it’s worth, Monzo has always exceeded my expectations.

Your team has set a high standard and has been a real game changer. I just feel like I’m gradually moving out of the target audience and wanted to share what my priorities are.

Definitely feeling this. It’s a shame.

Hovering over RBS atm myself.

I’d like nationwide but I want notifications.

My tiles have been a bit odd, child co closed, all tiles disappeared, yesterday most came back, tbh just think it’s travel missing but who cares :joy:

Yeah a few said they work fine on Android.

Assuming the wrong gender :joy:

I do get that age isn’t the main factor but I also feel that moment happened a while ago. Still have an account and it’s dormant though.

I do love monzo’s notifications, especially when you have bills coming out, if they are going to be more or less than the previous month, at least it tells you, Natwest my other bank, does not.

Colour scheme and font would probably change my view of it. Just doesn’t tick much on a visual view.

Functionality just right.

I have all three, plus Monzo :joy:

Each have their uses.

Starling’s free virtual cards are very handy.

Gotta love the RBS Digital Saver, and TWO 0% credit cards (yeah, I was surprised too)

Nationwide is my oldest current account, and home for my Select Credit Card (though that’s only used for my phone subscription currently)

Monzo is the hub that receives my income and disseminates it around with zero fuss

New to the Forums, but been with Monzo since Early 2019,

Point 4 is probably my only issue with Monzo, Would love for Investments and Savings to be attached to the Joint Account, Me and my Partner both have Individual Accounts as they are needed, but literally everything is done via our Joint Account, Round Ups from the Joint account send to investments or Savings would be an amazing feature to have in.

Point 5 scared the hell out of me when I first joined, and even until a few years ago still did, But We use our accounts properly, with nothing illegal so never had an issue.

Point 3 was an issue, but realised I could X some items on the screen etc,

Unable to comment on 1 & 2

Another handy feature was the Cash Back, would love for this to be automatically applied for when it detects me using my card in store, but its pretty decent and being used.

Great detail, and tend to agree. Please do not touch Plum! …they are one of the random account closure banks! I moved some of my funds from Monzo to Plum and my Plum account got closed because they did not know where my money came from - ridiculous to say the least…so moved it back to Monzo and get good interest. :yum: to Plum! & will be contacting the Ombudsman about them!
