Meeeee.

The initial was a good game!

I had never played the original original, but loved the remastered one. Also really enjoyed Control so very excited for this!

Sorry yeah I played remaster.

Alone in the dark was also getting a remake i think.

Still think all these metaverse stuff is just unwanted by the vast majority of people at the moment, even if companies keep telling us how great they are and how everyone wants to join them.

Rolling back 15 years though, it was something else.

No mention of Cocoon yet in this thread.

Every outlet is waxing lyrical about it right now.

Was looking at this for the flight out and back.

Will have a look at gameplay later but looks a decent game for fun.

Most interesting part is the ā€œGames as a Serviceā€ part which doesn’t seem to be going well at all.

Really looking forward to it! Got Ubisoft+ for a month or two to play Mirage and The Crew Motorfest.

I’ve loved the big open worlds of the last few games but having something a bit different (I’ve only played Syndicate out of the older games) is going to be interesting to play.

Reviews have been coming out for AC Mirage. Mostly positive, although some sites are less so, but it’s Assassin’s Creed, they never really have the greatest reviews. Seems like it’s a genuine return to the older style of games. Looks like it’s going to be a fun game!

I doubt it. Streaming works on essentially all devices, even the incredibly budget ones, yet some phones struggle with MK Tour. This being a threat to streaming is a long way off as the tech isn’t cheap enough and won’t be for a long time.

I know it’s on the iPhone, but what I said still applies. The tech simply isn’t available to a lot of people, streaming is. Budget phones, which are popular, will not get this sort of technology for ages considering they still struggle with mobile games.

I have a really good experience with streaming and I’m using my laptop as a hotspot for my Xbox. It is already here for a lot of people, and much cheaper than these types of phones will be.

It will likely be similar to gaming PCs. People can choose to spend a lot of money on one, but most won’t. Streaming caters to them. The phones for gaming are here now, but they aren’t cheap and they will almost certainly not get much cheaper any time soon. Streaming caters to them.

It is though.

And some of your points are irrelevant to the discussion. My phone doesn’t have 5G and I’ve streamed games perfectly on it, so it really doesn’t matter if a lot of the country doesn’t have 5G.

The point of streaming is that you don’t have to buy an expensive device to play games. You can play them on your laptop, phone, or even TV without spending hundreds or thousands of pounds on more tech.

But I think at this point, it would be wise to agree to disagree. We clearly won’t see eye to eye on this

Boomerang copy sent today, play, return and then onto the next game

I’d wait to see what the price looks like. I don’t think it’s going anywhere at current console game prices.

The tech likely isn’t what’s limiting growth.
