Guys this is the first time this has happened to me full stop, someone has tried spending £100 on my Monzo in the US, I’ve taken a screen shot, what should I do next?? Any help appreciated.
It looks like your card’s magnetic strip might have been duplicated.
Although I assume those transactions will carry on being declined (obviously you shouldn’t enable Magstripe withdrawals [see iOS / Android] in your settings now), I’d recommend freezing your card (here’s the Android & iOS guides), as a precaution.
Then contact Monzo’s support team via the in-app chat or by emailing email@example.com so that they can let you know what to do next.
