I have previously been using Yolt with my legacy bank, but TBH it doesn’t add much value as its the real time feedback that I find the most useful

That’s interesting to hear, I know people who rave about Yolt but since I only use Monzo for my banking, it doesn’t add a lot of value. In case you’re interested, there’s been some more discussion about their service here.

If anyone has any thoughts about these ideas, could they please post them in the dedicated threads to save anyone repeating what’s been discussed & keep all of the ideas in one place

Ability to manage (edit/delete) payees. This isn’t the biggest issue, but would be convenient to have.

Managing Payees

I’m not sure if this has been covered before or not, I had a quick search but didn’t see anything I’ve just added all of my other bank accounts to my Monzo Payments tab, although it would be great if I were able to: a) Manage the account name + payment reference b) See the account details that the money is being sent to, and ideally manage these details too c) See payment history to that person/account, like you do with spending. ie: Average £15 over 3 transactions Thanks

Category for savings. I regularly transfer funds to an isa or savings account with other banks and don’t want these transfers to be counted as “Total spent”. They are savings, but not replaced by pots.

Custom Categories - 15 & New Category Requests

Some categories such as health do not exist currently, so maybe in future Monzo can add them, or customers can change manually?

Improved app security. The app lacks a fallback for when face id fails or more importantly when face id has been disabled/updated globally. All other apps that use face id force you to enter a pin or some-sort when the face id settings are updated.

Enter PIN to Access App & PIN Reminder

Hi all, i have been using Monzo now since August time and i love it. As there is always room for improvement i thought i could start a thread to highlight these. For me i feel that there should be PIN access to the App, as at the moment if for some reason i los my card and phone, all people would have to do is top up the card without any credential confirmation.
