Feedback: Joint Account testing

Had the joint account beta a couple of days now, I quite like how the account switch happens, but it would be nice if there was some indication on the home feed of which account you were in. I also don’t think I’d be able to fully move over without pots in the joint account, though I could maybe fudge it and hold the joint set-aside-money in my own account for the time being (assuming they’re on the map).
I’ve put £100 in and not spent anything yet, but the summary seems to think I’ll have £13 left over.

@cookywook Will there be another round of Joint Account testers? Perhaps those who applied but weren’t selected because they use a different platform to their partner? (he asks selfishly :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:)

It doesn’t but overjoyed that I can distinguish between them on the home screen. Perhaps if both members of a joint account are investors you get that!

I can confirm Google Pay also has this now has this for Joint Account cards :raised_hands:

Just delete if you have already added your Joint Account card and add it again :slight_smile:

It’s rolling in to the labs feature pretty soon so anyone can give it a go if they want to however you might already have the option if you applied and weren’t successful. It appeared for me the other day!

I’m getting a ‘Create Pot’ option under the POTS heading in Summary, but once you select a photo and decide how much you want to add it comes up with ‘There was a problem, must be a uk_retail account’

Assume this is a bug?

Yes Pots aren’t ready yet I’m afraid -

I knew they weren’t ready just yet, was just wondering if the option showing up was a bug - imagined the option to open one wouldn’t be there until they could be opened! :relaxed:

Just tried to change my plum direct debit to my :monzo: joint account but it doesn’t appear in plums list only my account does. Any ideas why?

Set up joint account.
Cards arrived today.
Can’t activate.
In app chat can’t help.
Can’t use test flight app.
Oh dear!!

My wife and I just activated ours.

Are you going in to the joint account and pressing replace under the card?

All I can see on my Monzo app is my own account?

Hold the account icon on the bottom bar and the account switcher will appear

I’d suggest reading through the posts earlier in the thread, as you’ll probably find that another user has already posted the solution or providing more details about the issue so that we can explain how to solve it..

Fair enough but as a very busy working dad it is hard to spend 30 minutes reading through posts. In fairness I get it’s still a testing phase but if there’s common themes these should not just be on the community they should be in app as well.

Thank you. I deleted the app & reloaded & can now do what you said.
It’s a real pity in app chat didn’t suggest that 5 hours ago!!!
