I think Monzo should have a total and date period in the upcoming payment section on joint accounts. We use this as a bills account for household, and have to calculate it every time, other banks have a section where you choose the end date and it calculates how much you have coming out upto that date. It would make budgeting so much easier.
If your bills are fixed, the sum should always be the same near every month.
Using a Pot will show you total needing to be paid in so accommodate all payments.
We get paid every 4 weeks so the total out changes every month, also my partner and I don’t have the same pay day.
Do you not set your bills to come out a fixed date of the month ie 1st?
No. I’m not having a conversation about how I handle my household bills. I have expressed an idea for the improvement of the app. Lots of other apps have this feature, Lloyds is one of them, so it is a possibility.
Not all banks are the same.
Using a Pot would give you the answer, or checking trends for last months total cost, and working it from that.
You will need to use a pot if you want to see them.

Similar thing happened to me a while back. I’d used a 7 letter word starting with rub and ending with bish.
