That’s a fair question; I didn’t play any part in this change, I was just eager to see the ‘advanced roundup’ panel vanish 
I suspect it’ll be down to the ‘Order your card’ being much smaller / less intrusive than the big panels at the top. And there’s no harm in having easy access to ordering a card, right?

I know this is all part of the selling point, but I wish Monzo would disaggregate cards from the plans. I love the metal card, but I’m rethinking the insurance offers so will probably go from Premium to Plus.
Alternatively, a choice of Plus card would be great. I’m not a fan of the blue really.

My first guess was perceived marketing value? Pushing me to order a blue card could theoretically act as advertising in a way round ups clearly can’t.
Well, the whole aggregation of other company’s products thing is annoying in general, but what’s your beef with the insurance specifically?

I was just looking again at whether I need the insurance through Monzo or whether my contents or other policies would be a better bet. And I’m still not planning on traveling for a while yet
