I thought the days of companies refusing to accept Monzo cards were long behind us. But I’ve just had my card refused at Divide and Buy. The error message said they can’t accept “Monzo, Revolut or pre-pay cards”. The customer support agent I spoke to went further and said they can’t accept cards from “online banks”.
I explained Monzo was a real bank and that my debit card was not a pre-pay card. She says she’ll log my complaint.
But is there anything else I can do to get this information in front of people who can actually fix it?
