I did leave 3 but I keped a sim only 30 day rolling sim for £9 a month with them for my iPad.

Why are you so opposed to contacting Three?
If they’ve taken then wrong amount of money they need to refund it. Go direct to the source instead of asking Monzo to ask them. No wonder it is taking longer!

I did they said I need to speak to monzo I just spoke to them. Monzo can revert it quicker then 3
If any company have ever overcharged me the first thing I do is go straight to them to resolve and refund. I don’t go to my bank and complain as it wasn’t there fault.

Smart I spoke to 3 monzo need to revert it as they can their end but it take 2 weeks. When as they said the bank is obliged to the direct debit gaurentee via a direct debit claim.
Monzo should return the funds under direct debit scheme if you have contacted them. I have done this with banks in past when mistakes happen.
I did on the phone and they won’t say anything. They won’t even respond in the app.
Or perhaps you’re expecting an immediate response in-app and aren’t getting it? I doubt they’d ignore you.

I did contact 3, they told me the same thing when it happened with nationwide.
Not much I can do but wait for monzo to respond.
You actually don’t have to prove anything to your bank, you just tell them the Direct Debit is incorrect, they have no option than to revert it. The rules say straight away in banking terms that means by the close of business on the next working day. It’s all in black and white in the scheme rules, its not open to discussion or negotiation, they are the rules.
- If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by the organisation or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society
- If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when the organisation asks you to
