Anyone else think they would benefit from being able to add descriptions to your transactions. That way, when you split a bill or add it to the shared tab, the other person(s) can see a description for what it was for.
For example -
TESCO - Cleaning Supplies
SLUG & LETTUCE - Staff drinks
I find myself constantly having to remind people what the bill I sent is for.
Also being able to see the pending payments grouped together and be able to send a nudge would be great.

Late reply but not sure why no one wanted to comment on this! I think it would be a great idea to add this.

Right!!! And still not possible. sighhhh
Probably just my OCD and with being designated group organiser but it would make things so nice and simple!
Nudging payments they added.
Now they just need to allow descriptions to be carried over into the split bill view

I completely agree, they should also add description to pots as it will be very useful. Someone has already made a suggestion for that but it has not been accepted.
What do you all think of the ability to give a longer description to a pot. Instead of a pot called “holiday” with a goal of £1500. I want to be able to provide a description of the individual things I’m saving for. Say, “plane” £400, “hotel” £500, “spending money” £600.
I would suggest a second larger (description) text box, could provide this functionality.
This feature has already been suggested. You can vote for it here:
We need the ability to add (or show) receipts in Shared Tabs and Bill Splits.
My girlfriend and I have been trialing Shared Tabs to split our expenses and we love the convenience but, coming from Splittr, which we love, we really miss the ability to add receipts and notes.
Itemised receipts + notes are essential for validating transactions, especially when they’re weeks or months old and neither of you can remember what was in them. And especially for things like groceries, which involve many …
