I love how easy it is to request money via the monzo.me link however when I’m sending a request for a predetermined amount with a custom message I have to go into my monzo app and create the link.
It would be so much easier if I could just curate the link within my messaging app and also enter in the amount and a custom message without having to go into the monzo app to generate the link.
I.e. in my message I would just type www.monzo.me/KyleRisi/20.99/Dinner_&_Drinks
Holy moly, I just happened to click on that link and it pulled through the amount. I had no idea it did this . So the question now is, can I add a custom message to that link without having to go into the Monzo App?
The app already does this, at least on iOS. I assumed it was across both platforms
So the syntax would be %20 for spaces and ?d= to start the message?
You can even do emoticons. Just run it through a url encoder to make it browser friendly -
Sure Android does this too, but I don’t want to have to go I to the app to generate a link, I juts want to create a link directly in my text, which now seems is possible.
