Couldn't change PIN in ATM


I went to my local Co Operative Food to change my PIN via their cash machine (Cash Zone) but only had two options. Balance Only and Cash & Receipt. Is anyone else having this issue? I’ve tried yesterday (when I first had my card) and today, but had the same issue.

Hey @MetallicAsh, looks like that’s not a bank ATM so that’s probably why – ‘cash zone’ I think is a separate company that put ATMs around the place :slight_smile:

Try to go to a Link ATM or one at a bank so as to make sure it’s free of charge. When I changed my pin it didn’t work at Raphael’s bank either. So stick with “better” known high street banks :slight_smile:
N.B. Changing PINs unlocked my Mondo app without having to do a normal transaction (money not spent)

To add my 2 cents (pence?) on this, I had the same experience this morning with my card - I could view my balance, but not change my pin. I have changed my pin on other bank cards at that same machine though. But, I did hit the view balance button, and it unlocked my card, so that was good!

I just tried to change my PIN at a bank ATM. It said unable to process transaction at this time. I then tried to get some cash using first the old, then the new PIN. I got the same message both times but only received one alert via the app to say that an incorrect PIN had been used. So, what’s my PIN now and how can I check/change it to avoid problems?
