Have you tried adding it directly from the Monzo app? Go to the account screen and click add to apple pay
I think there’s a limit of something like 6 consecutive contactless transactions on a card before you have to enter your PIN - as a fraud reduction thing.
Managed to add the card but same as before , doesn’t work at all in shops
Why won’t you take it back to JL?
Hassle of having to pack my phone up and be without one for a while
Also unless there’s anything majorly wrong with it I don’t see the point . Just my preference anyway

Yep apple did a diagnostic test remotely and they said everything is fine
So try a force reset which I did
Then try a factory reset which I have tried twice
So speak to JL where you got it from and tell them it’s faulty and what’s happened and ask them what they can do
I imagine it has been dropped back because now businesses are open again, card use is getting closer to old levels, and the fraud risk is therefore much higher.
We dropped it back to £100 yesterday, as per mandate by the FCA. Because a lot of customers were above that (and still are until their next chip and pin), their first contactless transaction this week will fail and require chip and pin
