Combine multiple transactions (debits and credits) into groups to show net amount you have spent on the particular purchase. Say you spend £70 on a shared Food shop, 2 friends send you £20 each for their share. Instead of showing -70, +20, +20. You choose to group those transactions and it shows the net amount that your account is down by for that purchase ie £30 - Tesco Food shop.
I know if you could categorise all income and expenses you would get a total overview for ‘groceries’ for example but this grouping approach would be easier to see.
