For me (massive nerd alert ) is was a model train. Mainly because I saved up for most of it but my Grandma gave me a fiver ( big money back in the 90s) to make the gap up.
I take it one step further, I always had action men, my sister Barbie’s, and I used to take the heads off the dolls and bat them across the house with my action man

It was honestly, getting a PS3 and a Xbox 360 one Christmas when I younger, it honestly meant so much because I know how expensive they were and the fact that my family went out and spent that kind of money just to make sure I had a good Christmas has always stuck with me, and it’s never been about the gifts but just the meaning behind it
Duck Hunt for NES. Kids these days will never know the joy of blowing dust into your lungs to get the game to load and that stupidly annoying dog. Plus the fact you had to hold the bloody thing about an inch off the TV for it to work.
