I’ll miss receiving my Nutmail
The new name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, does it? ![]()
JPMPI has no ring to it ![]()
Indeed, my ring remains untickled by it.
Just a reminder that if you are on the Chase Saver 6 month booster rate (for qualifying existing customers at that time), the likelihood is that it expires this month (October 2025), so the rate will go off a quite high cliff. (4.30% to 2.50%?)
Will Chase replace with similar to preclude exit? Hmmm…
If they don’t extend it all of my savings will be withdrawn. However, their recent survey on a free packaged account was interesting.
They run surveys all the time with things they could do.
unfortunately 99% of it never sees the light of day.
I just think they will progress this. They need an attraction to keep their customer base. As we all know if they don’t whet our appetites then we’ll
I think they might tie in the credit card to offer some kind of bait.
I agree, if they offered a decent packaged account I’d switch from Monzo Max.
I also wish they’d just add overdrafts. I don’t use mine but I keep my account at £0 a lot of the time and it’s a good buffer if an unexpected payment hits
Just leave some money in to cover for the unexpected.
Honestly dont hold out for this, it has been surveyed over years asking about packaged accounts and nothing came, same with joint accounts.
They might/will probably do something but I just wouldnt hold out thinking its coming soon based on a survey.
Even when they do say stuff is coming it often takes longer, like the credit card that was coming “by the end of 2023”
So earlier I was making a transfer of £1500 to my brother from my chase account, it got flagged up and was made to call fraud team.
Not an issue working for a bank its normal, but the lady on the fraud team said, the reason it was flagged up is whilst I was making a transfer I was on a phone call at the same time therefore it got flagged up!
I found that unusual or I just never come across it, since when can they see activities on the phone whilst in the app? or am I late to know this LOL
Apps can request certain permissions including access to call state.
The Monzo app for instance uses the fact it knows you’re on an active phone call to put the warning front centre about it’s not Monzo speaking to you. You can test this yourself by making a call and opening the Monzo app.
Hmm. Never noted that from them before, maybe it’s a new implementation and will eventually be visible in app like monzo, I think Starling has it too but can’t remember.
Yeah found it odd, they even pinpointed i was on a call on whatsapp lol
Personally, if I was doing a transfer I would not be doing anything else on my phone. The transfer would have my undivided attention.
My sister is very forgetful when it comes to sending me money owed, so I will often call her and ask her to transfer the money to me and she will do it while we’re talking and then ask me to confirm I got it. Hopefully she now won’t use the excuse that it got blocked for fraud!
Further to my last post, today received email notification that my boosted account savings rate expires 28/10 and will revert to the prevailing 2.5%.
No mention of any renewal or replacement offer…
Yeah got the same email got to start looking around
