Category is either not found or archived

**Error message: Category is either not found or archived **

I’m in trends and I am trying to assign a custom category to a transaction. Error message appears, category is not archived. For info I have recently changed my email address. I have ‘perks’
IOS iOS 17.5.1 (21F90)

Just to update the transactions which I cannot categorise with my custom categories are from a virtual card linked to my joint account

Delete app.

Restart your phone.

Reinstall app.

Tried to replicate on mine and it seemed to work.

Last resort is maybe iPhone settings, Apps, Monzo, and reset session at the bottom.

Just looked at your image, is this joint account? Will depend if the other has a paid account too maybe?

It is a joint account and one of the benefit of perks is that you can use your custom categories and virtual cards on your joint account. So it should work.

I have the exact same problem

Edit: managed to fix it by assigning a random joint account transaction to the category and then trying again

Same issue, or nearly. Trying to assign a custom category to a spend on a virtual card. Saying 'couldnt sace category ’
