Same here for the last 3 cycleās. Now signed up to chase last month.
I had a missing cashback claim for Currys - I bought a laptop so more than a couple of pounds.
I queried the missing cashback using the app and it said Cancelled or returned transactions aren't included
. Very odd since it has definitely been debited from my account. I didnāt find an easy way to query this with support either - there doesnāt seem to be any flow for this to get to chat.
I have 16 offers all expiring in 10 days
LNER 8%
Trainline 4%
Virgin train ticketing 5%
National express 5%
It looks like they really want me out this city.
All no minimums, multi use except virgin.
I did once use Monzo for virgin trains in 2019, I donāt see any others.
Disney plus, Currys , yo sushi , honest burgers, decathlon are some of the others.
Anyone on the trial is in for a big disappointment the offers will never match Monzoās as others have said itās to get you to shop at places you donāt already.
One bit of feedback, I would love it if the merchant logos here on the homepage updated to reflect the offers you actually have available.
The number of times Iāve opened the app and thought āoooh a Currys offerā and then been disappointedā¦
Edit: Iām assuming everyone sees the same three on the homepage and mine isnāt broken?
Oddly when I open the offers the order looks like this:
- eBay
- Cardfactory
- National Express
I have no Currys offer. Iām assuming how the homepage looks vs how the offers list looks is just a coincidence?
Yeah i see eBay and Currys then click thru and get yosushi and decathlon.
Same static image for me as well
Same header for me, and my offers only include two out of the three.
If youāre going to give people different offers then you need to give them different icons.
Or something else that doesnāt include the merchant icons.
Trainline one came in useful today, booking train tickets to put myself through what will be a terrible away game
Great that Monzo have set the scene for cashback, but these offers are so lacklustre⦠even Curve Card have better offers, and you know youāve messed up when Curve can beat it.
And whatās up with them expiring only to come back exactly the same the next week.
The cashback offers are poor. I would suggest they make the offers just to harvest your spending.
Last time I checked mine showed the Aldi icon as the first one but Iāve never had a Aldi offer
Screenshot?
Itās updated now. Showing same as above.
It was Aldi, Asda and a white one could have been Morrisons or eBay.
Iām guessing this was only due to the 2% supermarket bonus as past few weeks the offers havenāt been places near me so havenāt checked it much
Completely agree. Iām genuinely tempted to opt out again because Iāve not had useful cash back options for ages.
Think Iāll do the same if the next update doesnāt provide anything useful.
The cashback offers ARE woeful but they can have my inside leg measurements if I might have a chance to earn 7 pence from them.
The data they harvest is worthless to me. I donāt feel as if Iām losing out that they know I went to Spar last night and bought a loaf.
Google.knows EVERYTHING about me. If thatās beneficial to them then so be it, but itās also beneficial to me. Here is my running total from the Google Rewards app. To hell with privacy I say!
Even better is the āIām going to opt out because there isnāt an offer that gives me Ā£10 per Ā£12 spent!!ā
Love the idea of cashback but id like to see some more tailored around supermarkets.
