Card Colour

Although I’ve only had my Beta card for a couple of weeks now, one thing I have found is that it’s MUCH easier to read the card number / exp date on the Mondo card rather than any other card I’ve got.

The other cards all have the numbers printed in silver which rubbed off very quickly

It’s odd really - you’d think neon coral with white numbers would be less of a contrast than black, blue or red cards with silver or white numbers, but for some reason with my eyes it just works :+1:

Also, the neon coral wouldn’t be my first choice of colour, but on the flip side, it’s going to be less easy to lose!

I’d second that. Find it far easier to read the numbers off my beta card than my other debit/credit cards

Also had a comment today from cashier that they loved the colour.

I’m really happy with it. Great choice!

Agreed. The bright colour with white text makes it nice and clear.

Lots of comments like "oh you won’t lose that card will ya"
Not a huge fan of the colour. A darker color would be welcome

Some banks like Barclays have a disability card option with special high contrasting colours

That’s really interesting, closer thing to that I’ve seen are the Natwest accesible cards.

The big arrow thing from Barclays is really a good idea… I hope we can come up with a design perfectly usable (and beautiful!) for everybody instead of having “accessible cards” for those that ask for it (contrast and physical affordances about the orientation).

agree a design suitable for all would be a better option…more cost effective
