Can't sign up (because I've had an account before?)

Hi, I’ve had a monzo account in the past, and switched to another bank, upon which my monzo account was closed.

Now, upon attempting to apply again for a monzo account using my existing email address and mobile number, I can’t get anywhere at all in the process in the app.

Please can somebody help reset my details so I can apply for an account?


Hi there! To do this we’ll need to disassociate your email address and mobile number from the old account.

Could you please email us at and include a selfie photo holding your ID up to the camera? Also mention in the email that you used CASS to switch away and so you’ll need a new account but would like to use the same details.

Same thing happened to me support sort this out for me.
