Can't log out of Business Waiting List

Hey all,

I was on the waiting list for both a Personal and Business Monzo account.

I got invited to set up my Personal Account this week which I’ve done. When I log out of that, and into my Business Account to check the waiting list number, I can’t log back out to go back to my Personal Account again.

The only option is to “Leave Waiting List” which I don’t want to do.

How do I get back to my Personal Monzo Account from here?

Delete app and reinstall.

Seems like a massive UI fail on Monzo’s part.

I assume once I actually get a Business Account, I won’t have to do this each time to switch between Personal & Business.

You’ll be able to just tap your profile icon and switch between the two, but you need to reset the app at this point.

iOS you can also go iPhone settings, apps, Monzo, reset session to reset the app.

Once you get a business account, there’s a prompt to sign up for a personal account from within your business one

@codey I have a personal account already.

It’s the business one I’m waiting on - and I can’t return to my personal account from the app whilst checking my position on the business waiting list.

Oh my bad. Is there not a button to sign up for a business account from within the app? If not, then I’d say just wait until there is because it won’t let you make the business account from the waiting list because you already have a personal account.

I joined the waiting list for a Business Account with a separate email address after setting up my Personal Account.

At the crux of the problem is, if you join the Business Waiting List you are then locked to that within the app, there’s no way to log out and return to a Personal Account without deleting the app and reinstalling it.

it won’t let you create the business account after you get through the waiting list anyway since you already have an account, even if it’s a personal one

@codey Eh, so you can’t have a Personal account and a Business account?

I got invited to be one of the first to make a business account, then in the app there was an option to”Apply for a Personal Account”. I’m not sure how it works when you have a personal account first, but id assume there’s an option to apply for a business account from within your personal one

This is exactly why I applied for a Business Account with a separate email as there was no way to apply for one within the Personal Account I’ve already opened.
