You’ll need to contact the GYM Group directly, they should then cancel your direct debit once they cancel your membership.

You don’t need to. The point of these gyms is usually no contract. As above, you just cancel the direct debit to quit.

Both the gym and pure gym explicitly state if you want to cancel your membership to cancel your direct debit. It’s the most cost effective way of managing it.

Oops my bad, the screenshot hadn’t loaded on my phone. Will edit my post now…
I left them 18 months ago and cancelling my direct debit was sufficient. The day after it bounces you’ll be locked out of your online account and it’ll request you set up a new DD if you wish to continue as a member. No nasty long term contracts and debt collectors being called like the big chains do.
Pure Gym work in the same way.

Ahhh my advice is wrong then.
Although I’m pretty sure checking the GYM Group website would’ve yielded the correct result.
Can confirm cancelling the direct debit is the way to go. I cancelled my Gym Group membership like this.
