Scheduled payments can be paid from a pot.
It is a ‘Subscription’ (recurring card payment) which currently can’t be paid from a pot (like Amazon Prime, Microsoft Live and also [reportedly] Netflix are examples of Subscriptions/Recurring Card Payments)

Also putting the entire question in the title is akin to people who do the same with email subjects.
