I have a Monzo current account and if I take up employment in Europe, can I give the details of my Monzo account to get my salary over there? Or is it exclusively for GBP? I previously got my salary in Swiss francs converted to GBP into my Santander account.
I was wondering if I can do the same with Monzo.
This should be possible as monzo launched international transfers last year.
Due to their recent launch it’s reliability is still improving as other banks find out the route to send money to monzo. If the transfer fails the money will be returned to the sender.
It’s up to you if you’d like to give it a go at current.
It depends what payment method is used, I think. Not everything is supported yet so there is still a hit and miss element here.
