I believe the Cheque Imaging is earmarked for August (or there abouts) this year as there are only set dates available to introduce it so the systems do not get inundated. Monzo are signed up to an August date so you should see it some time around then.
As for cheque limits, I guess that is feedback for Monzo as they continue design and development on business accounts
